Driftwood
Please note that the driftwood, the focus of and reason for takng this photo, is properly set in the lower right quarter of the frame. This diftwood log is believed to be pine and has been soaked in fresh water from the brook and salt water from tide water which backs up into the stream. Driftwood exhibits many interesting curves and shapes over the years of exposure to the elements. I hope to complete more driftwood studies next summer.

I can see that your appreciation for driftwood is highly refined. Your commitment to more study is laudable. Meticulously examining every curve and every crease is surely a labor of love. Let no one dissaude you from persuing your art.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely commendable. I like your artistic eye and your ability to see things outside the box. I am reminded of one of my own 'stretches'. LOL I'll definitely be keeping an eye on you.
