This is Why I Still Carry my Canon XTi

I'd love to retire it. I have the XSi and the T1i but they won't let me PHOTOGRAPH THE SUN! If the sun is in the frame at 10mm with the other camera I get a sky white out. All other settings on the cameras are the same. I've even tried reducing the exposure compensation. No go. But the XTi will let me get blue sky RIGHT TO THE CORONA! (Hee..ok..close enough.) Anyone? Anyone? That XTi is approaching almost half a million shots. It's not going to last forever. HELP!
