Impassioned Impasto (Google it if you must, I had to)


Roberta is JAZZED! (And carrying a mean set of pipes in this image. She must be working out when no one is looking.)

She decided to paint a photo I had taken of Ledge Falls. I initially wasn't going to post this because a photo of a painting is a derivative work, but I suppose a photo of a painting of a photo is ok.

    This is not actually impasto but a mixed media collage.

    Ooo..fancy. She told me how she did it. She painted tissue and cut it up ad stuck it on there and crinkled it in some places then painted on top of THAT. So now don't bother Googling Impassioned Impasto. In a few days it will only bring you back here anyway.

    Now if she could just make a painting of the photo of her holding the painting of the photo and she held it up for display...now THAT would make a great photo.
