Thursday Challenge: Fragile
I found this inside a tool room of an abandoned railroad deisel shop. Nuts and bolts were stored in jars and screwed up into the lids which were nailed to the shelves. Didn't your Dads do this?
Not my dad - old frosting containers and coffe cans. I have about a million frosting containers, with red sharpee - 'drywall 21/2', 'deck 3in', etc. Any screw you'd want...
No, my dad didn't know a bolt from a belly button. Fortunately, my two older brothers took up some of his slack, and we did get the lightbulbs changed.
Yep, he sure did. Now here is a technology I truly miss, ahh the good ol' days.
ReplyDeletelovely lighting and framing...
ReplyDeleteGosh! *I* have done this. Whatchoo talkin' bout, dad?

ReplyDeleteTrue! My dad did indeed in our garage when i was little...
ReplyDeleteMm, my dad was more of the "drawer full of crap" school. Just rummage around until you find something that might work.
ReplyDeleteMy dad wouldn't have done that. See, the temptation to smash the glass was even too much for this guy!
