I like the pictures you post. They seem to capture a flavour that's distinctly different from the more urban version of America that most foreigners would be familiar with... A slightly more rural flavour- or rustic, perhaps...

AWW... what a nice surprise to find this today! I didn't realize taxidermist did that to geese. Oh wait, you said it was gubmint issued... it all makes sense now.

ReplyDeleteI do all the mailing from Fishboy.com out of this post office. Dawna the postmaster is the best.
If you are visiting MDI, stop in and buy some stamps and tell Dawna that Fishboy sent you.
These small rural post offices are all ways threatened to be decommissioned. Buying stamps at them help to keep them alive.
