Jim at Schoodic Point
It would be easy to give this the caption, The Old Man and the Sea, but the more fitting caption is what he said. "What the hell are you doing, put that stupid thing away" Although he DID like the photo after he saw it. As Maura Clark once said, "Sometimes the best photos come when we trample all over another's private moments."

Later in the afternoon when we ran with the bulls was a little bit more Hemingwayish. But this was still nice. We head for the coast any time a Hurricane comes and the tides are right in direct opposition to safety warnings. His satisfied look is probably coming from watching a tourist swept away by 30 foot seas. I was hanging on for my life and trying to snap pics. He wasn't even losing his hat or having his cigarette go out. Additionally, I don't know how he does it, but even upwind in a Hurricane his cigarette smoke gets in my face.
