I Love this shot! It reminds me of the tracks that ran behind my sister's old house in Stockton Springs. Images like this are why I really enjoy your Blog. Many show the truth of living in Maine. And sometimes they invoke ramdom, wild thoughts in my mind's eye. ~TatuNurse
Hiya ~TatuNurse. This was taken in Hermon just past Dysart's Truck Stop. I was waiting for the train that never showed because it stopped at Northen Maine Junction a mile or so in this direction.
This was one of my first night shots that I took with a Minolta DiMage that I eventually took back because I wasn't happy with the color chip but DAMN could that thing see in the dark! When I was standing and looking OVER the camera I could only see the Moon, but an image close to this was on the viewfinder. So I thought I had this really cool night vison thing. Heh heh.
I don't mind invoking random, wild thoughts in your mind's eye but the last thing I want to show is the truth of living in Maine. Jesus. It's too horrible to even think about.
Some Russians who got turned on to this blog noted that they weren't aware of the high level of decay in the US. :) Just doing my part for international understanding and brotherhood.
Later I'll post some Calendary photos of Corea that'll make ya gag on the treacle.
