Sunbeam. This boat provides pastoral services to the islands. I think. Something like that. I'm not even sure what pastrol services are. Maybe it's just a tax write off.

ReplyDeleteThe Sunbeam is part of the Maine Sea Coast Mission which provides many services to island and coastal comunities Downeast. Along with social and spiritual support, they provide Health services via telemedicine to Isle au Haute, Frenchboro, Matinicus and Swans Islands. In the fall of 2003, I had the pleasure of helping with a immunization and health screening clinic aboard the Sunbeam at Isle au Haute. Their website is www.seacoastmission.org for anyone interested.
