This was taken with the Fujifilm A2650. A little 2.1 Megapixel camera. What you are seeing is the northern edge of Hurricane Isabel so this was taken in the fall of 2003. The eye itself was several hundred miles to the Southwest.
Exif data is as follows: 1/450s f/3.5 Focal Length 6mm (35 mm equivalent 42mm) ISO: 100
I did, actually. This Pink Granite lines most of the Park Loop Road in some form or another and this particular stretch near Otter Cliffs is blocked. This is maybe 20 inches high. A little wall.
Great shot! You should tell us what you are shooting with... and if you modified the photo at all...
ReplyDeleteMy in-laws live in South West Harbor, ME which is about 15 miles away from Acadia National Park.
That park is absolutely beautiful..
My wife and I got married at the lawn of the Bar Harbor Inn in, of all places, Bar Harbor, ME.
Fantastic shot! The wall really draws your eye into the picture. Keep it up - there is a landscape photographer in you somewhere!! :-)

Excellent shot, Jeff. What did you do, sit the camera on the curb and take the shot?
ReplyDeleteDark and brooding.
