Bar Harbor Breakwater. The BREAKWATER is a manmade (for the most part) structure marking the south end of the Harbor. (Built, I have been told, when Thomas Jefferson was President but I can't find anything to back this up. The Breakwater is pretty much inaccessible unless one just wants to go on it for bragging rights. Woe to anyone on them at high tide because they both submerge.
