I'm a Premature Epostulator: Confessions of an Over Eager Poster

This is what I SHOULD have posted for Macroday: Money and WOULD have had I not been so eager to be first because I couldn't imagine as much variation in the ideas as there was.

Apologies this week go to Hans De Loof who I ripped off when I saw this.

  1. MMM.... Lots of spave change, JK! You've been on the street again?

  2. ahhahahah funny...
coins...i dont like to keep coins...
    dunno why

    but a nice angle

  3. We DO like to keep coins and then Nicholas (5) and I wrap them for his special bank account. But we never stacked them. Hmm. In the second photo I can see little mumchkins as high as maybe 6 quarters up walking around and being totally amazed over Money!

    Great shots, JK!

  4. money money money
seems to bring out the best in people!
(with all the riged voting happening...)
    thanx for your praise

not beeing native english-speaking the word "epostulator" got me wondering...
maybe THAT would be a good photo-meme theme!

  5. Dude, you know I love you and your photos, but DUDE. Hans' money is so much COOLER, with the stars & all. Had you had access to the COOL money, I'm sure you'd have earned my photorespect for the day... but today? Hans has got it goin' on, Baby.

I still love you best, though. Woot!

  6. That is so pretty! What kind of camera do you use?
I like your new green face:-)

  7. Merlinprincesse: I only works the street for bills. The coins are to make change.

zbjernak: Then you clearly have your own washer and dryer.

ginnie: I HATE wrapping. But I LOVE dumping my pile of coins into those change machines which keeps out a nice 8.34 percent fee for itself.

hans: I'll email you about the epostulator part. I'm too shy to mention it here.

toady joe: Damn our coins with their plain edges! Damn those Euro using Europeans with their cool edges of stars. Damn them all to hell!

Leilouta: That is the Canon Powershot S2 IS with a Omm focal range. Sometimes I just feel the need to climb out from behind the camera.

  8. This is a great shot. They actually look like life sized columns.
