Fork Issues

I have an odd collection of forks which I pick up here and there, but I rarely use them. So they just sit in the silverware drawer. I thought they'd be interesting to photograph but they really aren't. Some are from Airlines, others from Hotels, a few came from eBay. I don't eat at home that often and when I do I use plastic forks so I can just throw them away after. I have a horrific aversion to forks scraping on the bottom of a stainless steel sink.

  4. I have some spoons I really love, and others I don't. I try to rotate my utensils after washing, but I just find myself digging through for my favorite ones.

  6. Keeping bringing your game, taking pictures as you know is not just for the result as it is for the discovery of your gift. You can learn something about the art of picture taking in each shot. I need to get a new camera, my sony 3.2 maga pixal is dying after the umtenth thousand photo, any recommendations for point and shoot?

  7. FORK YOU you FORKING FORKERS...mmmmm. Think I've seen a bad movie that had that title. Actually, I loved it even if it was bad. Laughed a lot. Good actors, bad mooooovie. The Forkers. But it was not an ustensil story. Strange. ;o)

  8. aughra: are they plastic?

ginnie: It's ALL in the alternate titles sometimes.

lance: Lately I'm learning to stop being so cavalier and actually TRY to take a good pictures instead of just posting crap. As you Gentle Viewers deserve, of course. Heh heh

    jenn: Only mustard should be.

merlinprincesse: FoCkers. Not FoRkers! I own all the rights to Forkers. :)

3LK: "They were Ecco Danish Modern Eterna." replied the very anal retentive curator of family silverware, jkirlin.

billy: I know what you like. You and yer fancy pants Tibetan Lamas.

  10. photo_man: Actually I came up with the idea on Nov 20, 2005. I've just been waiting for Tuesday Challenge to catch up. As an idea may I suggest getting a odd collection of forks and photographing it at a disturbing angle. I find that works for me.
