SPRING!

The Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race takes place every April when the snow melt makes the Kenduskeag navigable. Well, if you can call this navigable. The most popular place to watch the race is at 6 Mile Falls where this is NOT a rare occurance.

    I love the shot. Glad I wasn't in the canoe though. I took a spill in a canoe once and wound up under the boat wondering why it was so dark!
