WERU FM 89.9 Blue Hill, 102.9 Bangor www.weru.org
When I was just a wee little baby photographer, my friend Brook (seen here with soon to be husband and co-host Mark) was one of the first people to tell me I ought to do something besides take photos to use as a screen saver. Then she allowed me to take this series of photos, one of which ended up being used for their wedding announcement. I still brag it up. Clearly.
Today I get this email from her:
Don't miss our show next Monday, March 6 from 7:00am-9:00am eastern time. We'll be spinnin' the best new tunes, playing some old favorites and raising money for our local community radio station, WERU FM. Go to www.weru.org and click on the "listen now" button at the top of the page. You can listen with itunes or Real Player. If you're so inclined, call in and make a pledge for grass roots community radio on the coast of Maine. Catch you then, Brook
So now, among other things, they are big radio stars. What else are they? People who are learning that if you have a friend take photos of and for you...
make sure that YOU get all the copies of the images.

Awh, they are the cutest.
ReplyDeletemr fab: I've heard that are going to be trying some experimental black and white TeeVee.
ReplyDeleteaughra: They sort of are, actually. But in person they each have a quick and biting wit that offsets it and makes them quite nice to be around.
