My neighbors, the Bangor Theological Seminary has moved (To make way for a Wendy's or one of the
KFC/Taco Bell Combos, I think. Don't quote me) and one of their last acts was to hold an auction of the crap they didn't want to carry to the new campus.
It was Multi thousand dollar crap, but still, they didn't want to move it and an auction is so much more dignified than a Yard Sale.

occurred to me as I was looking over assorted
lamps and filing cabinets... THE BELL TOWER MAY BE UNGUARDED!!! (More to come)
As an aside, this is John Clarke Russ one of three EXCELLENT photographers for the local penny pincher we call The Bangor Daily News (The others are
Gabor Degre who is apparently a man and Bridget Brown who most definitely is NOT). John has the photographer uniform thing going on and I think it's cool as hell. The white button down Oxford, the hard working cargo khakis and then strap on a few thousand dollars worth of some VERY FINE gear and NO ONE is asking 'what the hell are you doing' because they KNOW.
I gotta get to the store...and a decent camera shop...and a gym.
