Age and Fatigue

I have amazingly large eyes for a creature without a compound eye, made all the more startling that they are just BARELY set into my head.

More like 'stuck on' really. Kermit the Frog has deeper set eyes. The glasses just sort of make them LOOK smaller and keep them from falling on the floor.

My whole damned family has them. Well, not that, I'm sure, your families are running around like blind mice, but you know what I mean.

I used to HATE them. I'm getting to like them better now that they've seen more.

  1. Did you know that your eyes are the same size from the moment you were born to the day you die?

I can only imagine how huge your eyes were when you were a child. I'm visualizing those funky looking people with big eyes in those Steve Madden ads...

  2. Oh gentle eyes which have seen and captured the still life of so many a moment.

    Or something like that.

I like this photo. Your eyes remind me of the actor Michael Caine for some reason.

    Cheers.

  5. That's a gorgeous shot. It says as much as a thousand page biography. You can gaze at it and a whole story emerges

  6. Oh, yes. The WHOLE story. We have no secrets now.

    *waits while Kirlin freaks out*

Your eyes are quite lovely. As are you. Why are we all so hard on ourselves?
