When I was a wee little baby lowly and humble photographic servant, I was amazed by long exposures. It didn't matter what it was, all that mattered was that I couldn't see it looking over the camera but it appeared on my LCD when I was done. This is a 16 second exposure of a backlit tree in a very dark setting. The tree was always just a black bar running through the middle of the photo though so I used this little LED keychain light and painted the bark with it.
