That Dock in Hulls Cove (The Moon Continues To Do My Bidding)

This is the Christmas Tree that I THOUGHT Gentle Viewer, Patrick Kaine, wanted photos of. I tried some shots the day before and it was too dark and Gentle Viewer and Photo Editor KJ told me it sucked so I slunk (slinked, slanks, slunk?) back to try again.

  1. That's a very nice shot with this mooooooooooooooooooooon. Sorry when I see the moooooooooooooooon I do that... But the tiny Christmas Tree seems so lonely...Is that a metaphore of you life...? And don't say see above. There's nothing above...

  2. Merlinprincesse: The MOON is above. But here is the deal with The Thing of the Moment and your lowly and humble photographic servant: I'm am extremely literal and shallow. A product of reading nothing but non-fiction. I couldn't find a subplot or a hidden meaning if it kicked me in the face. And I can't wrap myself around any concept enough to really create an effective metaphor. My pictures are nearly always the best of 20 or so images of something that I think is sort of 'cool', even if I don't know why. :)

  3. I think "skulking/skulked" might have worked, too.

Lovely photo- I wish my house had a better view to the west.

  5. JK, this is a gret shot... I love it.

I had to look hard to realize that this WASN'T the in-law's dock. Is it in SWH?

  6. No, Hull's Cove is a little village JUST before you get to Bar Harbor from the north.
