  1. Nice car, you keep it around just for photo challenges?

  2. Jozee: Exactly. I fed birds at a feeder for the same reason. Hmmm..come to think of it...it's sort of the same with my neices and nephews. ;)

  3. Interesting how you chose to crop the photo, cutting out the right side.

I often wondered why there were no 'cropping' contests.. that is, they give everyone the same original photo, and each contestant takes a shot at cropping it for best artistic impression. I think it would make a good contest, don't you?

This one here deservers the name, "bumper crop".. pardon the pun!!

  4. mr fab: Good thing I didn't show you the trunk!

anon: I do like a decent crop. Sometimes a good recrop is even better than going out and taking new pics. My amazing cropping abilities is the reason I want more megapixels. I want to take a photo the size of a bedsheet and cut it up into 4 by 6s. :)

  5. Hey, I think you could put this one in! I tried Weekly Shot week before last. I'm glad I did, but it's hard on the nerves and, depending on the submission, hard on the ego. I need to try it again; I think it's good for me. There's a new theme in 1 hour. You up for it?

  7. I know there are many photo of the day sites, but I find that StevesDigicams is one of the best. I love looking at the previous month's archives, tryng to guess which ones won, and also to see what cameras are being used to give the best results. Have a look:

You may want to enter one or two of your favourites. If nothing else, it is very educational to see what can be shot. There are some really spectacular photos there!
