Vacationland
The stupidest license plate motto of the 50 states. There is a certain schadenfreude associated with days like this. The rain is a nuisance if you live here but it doesn't last months like in Seattle so you can wait it out if you are a native but if you shelled out big bucks for vacation, you are screwed. These aren't real waterfalls. They are rain run off.
freud is missing in action. i've pestered my sibling to bring him back, but she's being difficult. (perhaps if i pay her a visit this summer, i'll be able to kidnap him for a few weeks.)
Beautiful and wet, green and wet, urban and wet, and finally, wet.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize Maine had such large mountains. They look very inviting.
i don't think it's ever rained that hard when i've been up to visit mama.
ReplyDeletei feel gypped.
shade: 1500 feet by the shore, it's a big granite pluton. Inland Mt Katahdin is a mile. It's the end of the Applachians.
ReplyDeleteduff: That's because you are blessed. How is Ask Freud?
