Vacationland




The stupidest license plate motto of the 50 states. There is a certain schadenfreude associated with days like this. The rain is a nuisance if you live here but it doesn't last months like in Seattle so you can wait it out if you are a native but if you shelled out big bucks for vacation, you are screwed. These aren't real waterfalls. They are rain run off.

    I didn't realize Maine had such large mountains. They look very inviting.

  3. shade: 1500 feet by the shore, it's a big granite pluton. Inland Mt Katahdin is a mile. It's the end of the Applachians.
