Awwwww!

A cute little something or other asleep in the sun in the back of this fur trapper's truck.

Shhh.... don't wake it.

Buckingham Fountain, Grant Park, Chicago

My friend Laurie Ballesteros posted a great image of this fountain that I had forgotten had a name. It was here that I learned 2 things. 1, the word 'Quinceañera' and 2, that professional photographers don't like when you step on their shots.

And The Kodak Starflex It IS!

It's an uglier camera looking down on it and it was definetly a cheaper camera when it was made, but the big glass bubble distorts more which I like and it's small and light. It's always been too small to fit into a wine bag anyway AND I have 2 of them. Looking at thesereminds me that the biggest reason to use a TtV device wasn't to keep light out but to keep my baseball mitt-like hands out of the shots.

And you thought you weren't going to sleep soundly tonight.

Perfect, Though My TtV Device Is...

I really like shooting without it sometimes. I may start carrying a second TtV camera leading to even more frequent asking of the question: "WtF is up your stupid TtV" Or even more likely? No notice at all. :)

My Immortal Soul

Or what's left of it.

Dime included for illustrative purposes only.

It's worth far more than a dime. It's like a quarter!

In My Perfect Motel Fetish Fantasies...

This would be the postcard for the New Englander Motor Court and that would be my sweet Chevy Cavalier and I would have a great weekly rates in my Smoking Room including 24 hour movies, and all the donuts I could eat at the Continental Breakfast.

WHY MUST YOU DENY ME, Oh, UNFAIR LIFE? WHY????

Boston Design Center

I know this probably violates every rule of composition there is. I need a skew tool, don't I?

People at Work®: The Backyard Chicken Farmer

Dan Cutshall, Nuclear Medicine Technician, Ordained Minister, Backyard Chicken Farmer.

Don't be so removed from your food. If you eat chicken, this happens to every one of them. It was funny because as he was opening the bird, I looked inside and saw the chicken breasts and thought to myself 'Hey! There's chicken in there!' I'm now better connected to what I eat. Thanks, Dan! :)

Lensbaby Street Portraiture of Strangers at Night in New York City

NOT from one of my People at Work® series.

I can't believe I don't get punched in the face more than I do.
