Innocent Victims Subjects

I'm a voyeur. And so are you.

When I was a wee little baby photographer® (for the record that's in between when I took pictures like a NORMAL person and now) I used to take ALL these photos with NO people in them. And that was fun.

But before I got brave enough to ask people, I used to sneak and do it anyway. And that was MORE fun.

I still do it sometimes but not as much because as my cameras have gottten bigger and more expensive I want them shoved up my ass less.

I've started a set of my favorite Stolen Portraits at Flickr for your (Ok, MY) viewing pleasure. But feel free to go poke around HERE if you like.

P.S. If you see the back of YOUR head there, let me know and I'll gladly take it down.

  2. Fun series! I think I like the first one best. I never would have guessed it was stolen.

I stole my first picture a few weeks ago at the bowling alley. I did it in stealth, holding the camera casually as if not aiming, clicking the shutter as if by accident. Only problem was, the place was dark and required a flash, which kept me from staying undetected. But it was still enjoyable, and I intend to try again soon--preferably in a much lighter locale.

  4. You could sell the second one to a retirees' travel company, one called "Golden Years" or "Twilight Travel" or something.
