Ya Gotta Admire His Spunk

If not his intelligence. Posted by Picasa

  1. I don't get it. It looks like he's in a valid parking space but it's hard to tell. He's not in front of the post boxes. he got a boot and a ticket. I'm not sure what you mean about his spunk nor his intelligence. I'm sure I'm missing something significant.

  2. What you can't see because I wanted the courthouse in the photo is the sign which has limits how long you can park there. But to get a boot and the dreaded pink parking ticket you have to be a habitual scofflaw with MANY MANY unpaid tickets. Some people were just paying the tickets as the price of parking downtown but now they have a tier system where the fine goes up based on how many tickets you get. My guess is that this Jeep belongs to some attorney who parked for the day rather than 2 hours and didn't even bother paying the tickets. I just had to admire his balls parking right in front of the courthuse which, as an added bonus is next to the police station and at the end of the driveway used by Parking Enforcement.

  3. Awesome. Actually, your whole blog is. I had to scroll all the way to the bottom as I was so entertained. Killed a lot of time I was supposed to be using to do training for my first full time job which starts Tuesday. But you were worth it.

As for this dude, wow. Glad I read comments cause I was just stupid enough to think that maybe he put that on there to keep from being towed. I live in a small town in Indiana so you have to give me some slack... I've never seen a "boot" before. Anyway, good thing I didn't say that or you'd know just how ignorant I am.

Also, I HAVE to mention the whole search thing... "How to get your wife to take it in the ass." I am still laughing... but I must ask, they did come up with YOUR blog somehow, did I miss a post? Hee.

Well, I'm a great commenter and could write forever, but I don't want to be fired before I start.

Oh, and I have no idea what blog of like 10 (I deleted a few) I have that this will link up to, so in case you're lost... Lensitivity/Liz (daisygirl113 on Flickr) on the photoblogs.

    Have a great week...

    Liz

  4. There is the remote possibility that the driver parked there for a court appearance, was convicted, and put in jail, and had no opportunity to retrieve his/her car.
