You kids with your Al-Qaeda and your Saran Wrap duct taped over windows, when I was a kid we were digging HOLES in our YARDS to live in for YEARS! :) There was no threat level. IT WAS ALWAYS RED! We weren't scared of a bunch of Islamic Fundamentalists with box cutters and donkey carts of mass destruction! No...we had the entire UNION of SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLICS to fear. We didn't wonder or debate if they had Weapons of Mass Destruction. We KNEW they had them! InterContinental Ballistic Missiles! Bombers! Subs! They told us. And they were POINTED at us!!! Those were the days.
Did I mention walking to school for 6 miles uphill both ways in the snow all year?
