Don
This is Don. He is the meanest and nicest guy you'd ever meet. I sold him on eBay once and got 40 bucks. He'd do anything for you but also has no problem telling you to pick him at an airport in one state and call upon arrival and tell you he was actually in a 3rd state but that he'd wait for you to come get him. He's in the Army and legend has it while he was interviewed in the Mideast he was asked if he wanted to be home, he shrugged and said 'Here, Southern Arizona, it's all the same to me. I don't care." His students think he is the devil. I still haven't decided.

This is a great semi-candid. I think just from a glance, this is not El Diablo.
ReplyDeleteSee? That's what he does. he doesn't LOOK like the devil. But he *IS*! Ask anyone!
ReplyDeleteThey'll say...Hmmm..The Devil? Donny? Yeah..he MIGHT be!
I think he looks like an ogre who recently sufaced from under a dune.
ReplyDeleteJeff, does he know that you call him El Diabolo? *laughing*
ReplyDeleteOh. He knows. He knows. He has many names, actually. His Christmas Name is 'Donner'. His Vegas Name is 'Cha Cha Moby'. He has a Road Name, too, but I can't remember what it is. Plus a couple of others. We string them all together and call him that sometimes. It gets NO REACTION, he doesn't ask why, he doesn't ask to have it repeated, and he answers to it like you just said 'Don'. He knows he is the only person with other names in our circle. I used to think that maybe it annoyed him or something. Then one night he calls from Arizona and wants to know what all his names are again and he's writing them down. He was trying to tell someone there about it but couldn't remember them all. Heh heh.
ReplyDeleteEL DIABLO!! AIIIEEEEEEEE!
(Don't forget the 'AIIEEEEEEE')
hahaha :)
